Healing with Vibrations

What Are the Ancient Solfeggio Frequencies?

The Solfeggio frequencies are a series of sound tones believed to have been used in ancient sacred music, including Gregorian chants such as hymns dedicated to St. John the Baptist. These tones were said to carry profound spiritual significance when sung in harmony during religious ceremonies, though they were thought to have been lost over time.

In more recent history, these frequencies were brought back into discussion through the work of Dr. Joseph Puleo and later described by Leonard Horowitz in Healing Codes for the Biological Apocalypse. Their efforts helped reintroduce these tones to modern audiences interested in sound and vibrational healing.

The six primary Solfeggio frequencies are often described as:

  • 396 Hz (UT) – Associated with releasing fear and guilt

  • 417 Hz (RE) – Linked to facilitating change and clearing negative patterns

  • 528 Hz (MI) – Connected to transformation and often referred to as the “miracle” tone

  • 639 Hz (FA) – Related to harmony in relationships

  • 741 Hz (SOL) – Associated with intuition and inner awareness

  • 852 Hz (LA) – Linked to spiritual alignment and higher consciousness

For example, the 528 Hz frequency corresponds to the note “MI” and is often associated with the Latin phrase “Mi-ra gestorum,” meaning “miracle.” It has gained attention in alternative wellness spaces for its symbolic connection to transformation.

From a holistic perspective, everything in existence—including the human body—is viewed as energy in motion. Within this framework, sound and frequency are believed to influence the body’s energetic balance. When these frequencies are experienced—often through music or sound therapy—they may help promote a sense of alignment across physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions.

These tones are sometimes used in practices aimed at supporting emotional release, enhancing creativity, deepening intuition, and encouraging a sense of inner balance. Many people find that sound-based approaches can complement other wellness practices by helping to create a calming, focused state.

How Does Energy Healing Work?

Energy healing approaches view the body as an interconnected system of energy fields. Rather than focusing only on physical symptoms, these practices aim to support overall balance and well-being—physically, emotionally, and mentally.
